Below are the most probable diagnostics when the protection key (the

dongle) is not recognized by the ISaGRAF software:

- the dongle is badly connected

- the dongle is connected to an 'off line' printer

- the dongle is dead

A dongle can be destroyed by plugging it on a 25 pin RS232 connector.
